Highly Accurate Chromatic Point Sensor for Rapid Measurement of Various Surfaces
The CFP is largely independent of the surface condition and allows dimensional, form, and position errors to be measured with a high point density. It is used to measure frosted, shiny and transparent surfaces in toolmaking, electronics manufacturing, and precision optics. In addition to embossing dies, coplanarity of solder points on plug connectors, highly accurate watch plates or lenses and mirrors can be measured using the CFP.
